Apple Scallywag™

$0.00

KiwiApple Scallywag™ will be loaded with pink and white flowers in spring, followed by a mouth-watering large apple with the traditional crisp, sweet flavour. Scallywag™ has a striking rich appearance with dark red flecks.

KiwiApples are grafted on a dwarf rootstock. Therefore, they will stay small and have a narrow columnar shape, perfect for growing in small spaces (or large pots). Like any deciduous tree, they benefit from a Copper and an Oil spray during winter to help keep the plant healthy and disease-free.

Like all KiwiApples, they are perfect to be eaten straight off the tree, but can also be cooked, are easy to core with the skin staying firm, or can be dried for a sweet snack later.

Produced and Marketed by Tharfield Nursery Ltd in association with Plant & Food Research. Apple Scallywag™ (‘Malus spp Hortapp4’) is protected under the New Zealand Plant Variety Act 1987.
