Feijoa Bambina™ (Dwarf)

$0.00

Bambina™ is our pick of the bunch, the only dwarf-growing Feijoa on the market and can easily be kept below 1.5m. Ideal for pots on the patio or as a small hedge. Brilliant in any garden with clean green petite leaves, shining mass of flowers for Christmas followed by masses of petite fruit with a thin, smooth green skin, sweet aromatic flavour and an abundance of pulp. Bambina™ can easily be eaten skin and all. Fruits from April onwards. Fruit is ready when it changes colour and drops when touched.

From Feijoas to a delicious Feijoa crumble cake recipe

Flowering occurs at the base of the new season's growth. It is, therefore, essential to prune early in the season (if pruning is required) to ensure growth happens for flowering to occur. Pruning is required to maintain the desired shape and stimulate the production of flowering wood.

Produced and Marketed by Tharfield Nursery Ltd. Feijoa Bambina™ (‘Feijoa sellowiana Tharfiona’) is protected under the New Zealand Plant Variety Act 1987.
